Radhanagar Beach in Havelock Island is one of the best beaches in the golden sands shimmer in the soft sun and the waves fall upon it in splashes of frothy turquoise. Long Island is the other Island in the axis, which possesses a good beach. Rangat is the first main locality on the axis. It is also the administrative headquarters of the middle Andamans. The long beach of Cuthbert Bay located near Rangat is beautiful and famous for turtles nesting during winter months. 

Mayabunder is a romantic destination in the north Andaman Island. The journey from Mayabunder to Diglipur, the last locality in the north, is enjoyable. Diglipur is a small town in a valley surrounded by hillocks and has the ambience of a hill station. Ross and Smith Islands, however, are the most interesting tourist places of Diglipur. The two Islands are connected by a sandbar which gets submerged during high tide like the Cinque Island of Port Blair.
